Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Re: Different twist on the Best month ever for the Grateful Dead: Over the entire span of their career, which month of the year was their best?

So if they were at their best in spring and fall, is that a coincidence or is there a reason? Was it more difficult to handle their instruments in the heat and humidity of summer? Were their animal spirits running high in the fresh weather of spring and fall? Did it have something to do with the timing of road trips around holidays and other distractions, or was there no pattern in that?
